The Springfield XD (eXtreme Duty) series is a polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol line produced through a partnership between American Springfield Armory and Croatian manufacturer HS Produkt. Born from the battle-tested HS2000 during the Croatian War of Independence, this series has evolved over decades to cover self-defense, concealed carry, and competitive shooting applications.
